A somewhat weaker offer awaits us today, but that’s already a rule for Monday. The suggested odds were valid at the time of writing the text.
Roma – Cagliari – 1&ov 1.5 @ 1.72 at Mozzartbet
The Romans parted ways with Mourinho; the dismissal of the “special one” will cost them dearly, but the shock therapy succeeded, and the Wolves have secured two victories. They celebrated against teams against whom it was expected, first defeating Verona at the Olimpico and then Salernitana away. Now they play against another team from the very bottom of the table, with the newly promoted Cagliari team visiting. The team from Sardinia has only one win in the last seven rounds and it’s no wonder they are in the relegation zone, albeit with the same number of points as Udinese and Verona ahead of them. Cagliari lost their last two matches, first away at Frosinone and then at home against Torino. Roma was fifth before this round, with the ultimate goal being qualification for the Champions League, and everything is dedicated to that. Matches like this one against Cagliari must be won, and Roma did just that in Sardinia last fall when they triumphed convincingly with 4:1. Our suggestion is a home win with two goals from the host, and there’s no doubt that the Wolves’ fans will warmly welcome Daniele De Rossi, the new coach of Roma.
The odds for the combination 1&ov 1.5 goals are 1.72 at the Mozzartbet bookmaker.
Maccabi Haifa – Maccabi T. A. – fr 1 @ 2.45 at Mozzartbet
The two best Israeli teams are meeting for the third time in less than a month. The first clash was won by Maccabi Haifa as a visitor in Tel Aviv, inflicting the first defeat of the season on their namesake. Just two weeks later, they crossed swords in the cup, where the team from Tel Aviv celebrated after penalties and won the Toto Cup trophy. Now, for the first time, they play in Haifa, and it’s a great opportunity for the current champion to further reduce the gap with the leader, which currently stands at four points. The team from Haifa could have taken the top spot in the table had they not been defeated by Hapoel in Be’er Sheva in the last round. A potential defeat by the leader from Tel Aviv could definitively distance them from the title they have won in previous years, as the difference would be seven points, and Maccabi Tel Aviv has only one loss in the first 19 rounds. Don’t expect a goal fest, but we believe in the triumph of the home team.
A win for the home team (fr 1) has odds of 2.45 at the Mozzartbet bookmaker.
FCSB – Farul Constanta – gg&ov 2.5 @ 2.10 at Mozzartbet
The Romanian first league will soon split into two parts, with the top six teams playing for the title and the remaining eight fighting for survival. This plays into the hands of the FCSB team, which is making significant strides towards the title. After 23 rounds, they have an 11-point lead over their closest pursuer, CFR Cluj, and have achieved four consecutive victories in the league, scoring a total of 13 goals during this period. Not only are they winning, but the team from Bucharest is playing exceptionally vibrant football and could slowly start to dominate in this country, reminiscent of the legacy of Steaua, the former European champions. Their guest at the close of the 20th round is the current champion, Farul from Constanța. The team from the most famous port cannot boast the same performance as last season and currently holds only 4th place, trailing FCSB by a huge 14 points. The team from the capital also celebrated in Constanța last fall, albeit with just one goal, but now we expect an open fight from both sides and a high-scoring match.
The visitors have nothing to lose and will try to win, and our suggestion is the gg&ov 2.5 goals bet with odds of 2.10 at the Mozzartbet bookmaker.
