Tonight we will find out the pairs of the Champions League semifinals. Two remaining second-leg matches of the elite competition are being played. There are still some interesting events, but overall, the offer is quite weak. The odds from the ticket were valid at the time of its compilation.
Bayern – Arsenal – gg&ov 2.5 @ 1.80 at Mozzartbet
For Bayern, the Champions League remains the only chance to salvage what has been a disastrous season so far. They lost the title in Germany after 11 years, and were knocked out of the domestic cup by a third-division team. So far, they’ve performed well in the elite competition, reaching the quarterfinals convincingly with all wins and a narrow loss to Lazio in the round of 16 in Rome. In the first leg of the quarterfinals, they had a 2-1 lead, but even a final score of 2-2 isn’t a bad result before the second leg. However, Bayern isn’t what they used to be; their confidence is at a very low level, and we don’t know what might happen at the Allianz Arena if Arsenal takes the lead. The Gunners aren’t in a particularly good momentum either; they were defeated at home by Aston Villa on Sunday, just when they could have taken the lead in the Premier League table after Liverpool’s loss to Crystal Palace. This way, City went to the top, and we doubt they’ll step down before the end of the season. That’s why this match is crucial for Arteta’s team; reaching the semifinals would be a significant success, especially after several years without participation in the Champions League. Since no one has an advantage, both teams need to win to reach the semifinals.
Once again, goals are the most realistic outcome, and the odds for gg&ov 2.5 goals are 1.80 at Mozzartbet.
Olimpija – Maribor – gg&ov 2.5 @ 1.85 at Mozzartbet
The championship in Slovenia is decided; with five rounds to go, Celje is 12 points ahead of the current champion Olimpija, with the Dragons having this postponed match against Maribor. Even if they reduce the gap to 9 points, we doubt they can threaten Celje until the end of the season. Olimpija will therefore try to repel Maribor’s attack and at least finish as the runner-up. Their chances are good; they have 7 points more, and if they avoid defeat in the direct match, they will be close to that second position. It’s a small consolation for a trophyless season; let’s remember that both Olimpija and Maribor were knocked out of the domestic cup in the round of 16, which hasn’t happened since Slovenia’s independence. Ljubljana at least played in the group stage of the Conference League, with varying success, but at least they earned some points for the club coefficient. Tough days have come for the Purple, as Maribor not only can’t win the title but also struggles to achieve anything significant in Europe. We remember this club even played in the Champions League once. This is the third encounter this season between the two most famous teams in Slovenia; Olimpija won the first one 2-1, and Maribor won the second in their Ljudski vrt 3-1.
We expect goals again in the Stožice stadium, and the odds for gg&ov 2.5 goals are 1.85 at Mozzartbet.
Omonia – Aris Limmasol – 1x @ 1.41 at Mozzartbet
The team from Nicosia has already established an unreachable lead in the first leg in Limassol and is on the verge of reaching the final of the Cyprus Cup. Omonia secured a convincing 3-0 victory in the first leg, and now it’s up to them to either preserve that significant advantage or preferably extend it. Omonia currently sits in third place in the league, four points behind the leaders APOEL. They are in contention for the double crown, but it seems much easier for them to clinch the cup rather than the championship title. If they reach the final, which seems likely, they will face the winner of the clash between Pafos and Apollon, and they are superior to both teams. Aris won’t accept relegation easily, although their chances of achieving more in Nicosia are slim. They are currently in fourth place in the league but are on a poor run of results, which seems to have cost them dearly in the last month. In their last four league matches, they have only managed to secure one point, and from being the main competitor to APOEL, they have struggled even to qualify for Europe. As for the second leg, we don’t expect Omonia to exert too much effort, but they won’t allow their opponents to revive hope either.
Our suggestion is to bet on the home team not to lose, and the odds for 1X at Mozzartbet are 1.41.
Molde – Odd Grenland – 1&ov 2.5 @ 1.70 at Mozzartbet
The match between Molde and Odd was supposed to be played in the 17th round of the Norwegian top league, but due to Molde’s commitments in the Conference League qualifiers, it was moved to the early stages of the championship. Only three rounds have been played in Norway so far, and Molde currently sits at the top alongside the reigning champions, Bode/Glimt, with a perfect record. It’s evident that these two teams will once again be serious contenders for the title this season, and whether anyone else will join them remains to be seen throughout the championship. In the first three rounds, Molde defeated Stromsgodset, Ham Kam, and Kristiansund, scoring a total of nine goals without conceding any. They also kept a clean sheet in the first round of the cup against lower-tier Eide Omegna, whom they defeated 5-0. Odd finished last season in 10th place, and they surely weren’t satisfied with their final position despite having some good periods. They’ve had a mixed start to the new season, losing the first match at home to Havesund, then winning against Sarpsborg away, and finally, drawing with Sandefjord at home last weekend. Last season, they lost 4-1 in Molde but were able to defeat the runners-up on their own turf. Currently, Molde has the advantage; they’ve started excellently, and we expect another victory from them. There could be at least three goals in total.
The odds for 1&ov 2.5 goals are 1.70 at Mozzartbet.
