The Belgian champions are almost certain to finish last in their group, but they would surely like to avoid a scenario where they end the competition without a single point. While Südtirol has suffered three consecutive losses in the league, the team from Lombardy broke a streak of five unsuccessful games by securing a point in their visit to Pisa. It was Pisa who celebrated against Südtirol in Bolzano, which is the last match that the team from South Tyrol played in front of their home crowd. As for the league table, the difference between these two teams is not significant; Südtirol has 16 points, just two more than Brescia, and both are outside the relegation and even the playoff zones. Last season, Brescia barely stayed in the league, managing to do so only through the playoffs, while Südtirol, in their first season in the second division, eventually made it to the playoffs. In their head-to-head encounters last season, both teams won at home, Brescia with a 2:0 and Südtirol with a 1:0.
