The Catalans last lost on December 1st, but their last victory was even earlier, against Alcorcon on November 26th. In the meantime, they have won and lost once each in the Copa del Rey. The triumph over Valladolid was in vain since Getafe knocked them out of the cup. Villarreal’s B team is coming to Barcelona. The second team of the Yellow Submarine has only one goal, which is to stay in Segunda. For now, they are where they want to be, out of the relegation zone, but only one point away from it. Every point will be very important to them, and it doesn’t help that they have achieved only one victory away and have 5 losses in their last five away matches. In Villarreal last fall, the Yellow Submarine celebrated a 3:1 victory over Espanyol, and that was the first official meeting of these two teams.
