The offer this Thursday is somewhat weaker, at least when it comes to football, but there are no problems in compiling a betting slip. The suggested odds were valid at the time of writing the proposal.
St. Gilloise – Anderlecht – 1x&un 2.5 @ 2.15 at Mozzartbet
The city derby of the Belgian capital is played in the quarterfinals of this country’s cup. In the past three seasons, Royal Union, from the part of the city called Saint-Gilles, has been much more successful than the famous Anderlecht. This team, since returning to the elite, has twice been on the verge of the title but has miraculously missed out on it. It seems they have decided that the third time will be the charm, as they are even more convincing this season and are currently the leaders with 8 points more than their closest pursuer, which is Anderlecht. Nothing is over yet, the playoffs are still to be played, this season with six teams, so another dramatic finish of the Jupiler League awaits us, although we doubt that the scenario of the previous season, where three teams were champions in the last five minutes of the championship, can be repeated. This season, Royal Union and Anderlecht have already played in the first round, with the team from Saint-Gilles winning 2:0, and the same happened in the previous six head-to-head league matches. Specifically, Anderlecht has never taken a point against Royal Union since their entry into the Jupiler League. In the last round of the cup, Royal Union eliminated Beveren with an away win of 2:0, while Anderlecht was better than Standard from Liege with the same score. The opponent for the winner of this duel in the semifinals, which is Club Brugge, is already known. Royal is the favorite, but Anderlecht could surprise. It will be a tough match with few goals.
Our suggestion is a combination of 1x&un 2.5 goals with odds of 2.15 at Mozzartbet.
Bournemouth – Swansea – 1-1&ov 1.5 @ 1.82 at Mozzartbet
The first match of the English FA Cup’s round of 16 will be played at the Vitality Stadium in Bournemouth. The home team, the Cherries, will host Swansea, a member of the Championship, where Bournemouth played until this season. A great streak of results for the team from Vitality was interrupted at White Hart Lane when they lost 3:1 to Tottenham, followed by a convincing defeat at home to Liverpool on Sunday. On the Premier League table, there is nothing yet worrisome for Bournemouth, as they have 25 points and a game in hand, and are 9 points ahead of the first team in the relegation zone. For Swansea, these are tough years; once a regular member of the elite, the team from Wales is now far from returning to the Premier League and is more concerned about maintaining their status as a second division team. After gaining just one point in the last two rounds, the Swans have fallen to 16th place in the Championship, and they are not looking forward to the clash in Bournemouth with much calm. In the previous round of the FA Cup, they beat lower-league Morecambe 2:0, while the Cherries knocked out Queens Park Rangers 3:2 in London. Interestingly, these two teams met in the first round of the EFL Cup last summer, with Bournemouth winning 3:2 in Swansea. There were also many goals in their last championship encounter, almost two years ago in the Championship, where they drew 3:3. Bournemouth should easily win this duel, so we suggest a combination of halftime/fulltime and goals.
For 1-1&ov 1.5 goals the odds are 1.82 at Mozzartbet.
Rizespor – Trabzon – gg&ov 2.5 @ 2.10 at Mozzartbet
After a somewhat weaker start to the championship, the former Turkish champion, Trabzonspor, has stabilized their form and now holds third place, right behind the unbeatable duo from Istanbul, Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe. Given that they are an unreachable distance away, currently having 17 points more than the team from the Black Sea coast, it’s clear that Trabzonspor’s goal will be to maintain this position and thus qualify for the Europa League next season. Trabzonspor’s streak of six consecutive matches in the Super Lig without a defeat, with 4 wins and two draws, was broken in the last round against Galatasaray. The current champion celebrated a 5:1 victory in Trabzon, somewhat infuriating the home club’s fans. Trabzonspor has a chance to redeem themselves in an extraordinary round with an away game in Rize, but it won’t be an easy task. The home team is in a high fifth place despite being defeated three times in their last four matches. They lost twice in the Super Lig and also managed to get knocked out of the Turkish Cup by Ankaragücü. In the first part of the season, Rize surprisingly defeated Trabzonspor as a guest with a 3:2 score, and the same result ended their last league encounter two seasons ago, as Rize spent the previous one in the second division.
Play on goals, that’s the first choice, and for gg&ov 2.5 goals the odds at Mozzartbet are 2.10.
