The Swabians have achieved two great victories in the last two rounds, winning against Leipzig at home 5:1 and away in Freiburg 3:1. Now only the Bundesliga remains for them, and in Stuttgart, they will try their best to maintain the position they are currently in. In the first leg at their home, they played a goalless draw against Real Sociedad, so now they have lesser chances to reach the final, although they should not be written off in advance. The team from the Balearic Islands has been inconsistent lately but are quite secure at home. This season, they have only been defeated twice as hosts, the first time in the second round against Villarreal and in the last league match in Palma de Mallorca against Betis. Mallorca is far from the safe zone, in La Liga they are just above the relegation zone with only three points more than the first team below the line. The match against Rayo Vallecano is one of those they must win, and such matches are the hardest to play. The Bees are in a better situation, but they only have 4 points more than Mallorca.
