Copenhagen achieved their goal by reaching the knockout stage; had they not played against City, perhaps they could have achieved more. Now, they have turned their focus to defending their title in Denmark. They lost last weekend to Midtjylland, and at Etihad, they will strive to sell their skin as dearly as possible. City has scored three goals in every Champions League match this season, and we believe they will score at least that many against Copenhagen, and the guests might also score.

Two teams in excellent form meet in an extraordinary round of the English Championship. The Rangers have strung together three wins for the first time this season, and on Saturday, they created a real sensation by triumphing over the leading Leicester City at King Power Stadium. Before that, they had victories away at Bristol City and at home against Rotherham. Despite these 9 points, QPR has not distanced itself from the relegation zone, being formally in 19th place before this round, three positions above the drop zone. Middlesbrough’s poor recent results have once again put their status in the Championship into question. At the start of the season, it was assumed that the London team would compete for promotion to the Premier League, and they were highly rated by bookmakers. However, it became clear after the opening rounds that this was not going to happen, especially in competition with Leicester, Leeds, and Southampton. Midway through the season, Middlesbrough played better and moved towards the top, but they have now won only one of their last seven league matches and find themselves in an unsatisfactory 14th place. Before the extraordinary round, Middlesbrough was only six points clear of the relegation zone, a consequence of four losses in their last five games. Interestingly, their only win came against the undisputed leader, Leicester. Norwich is climbing towards the play-offs. They are just below the line, only one point behind Hull in 6th place. In the remaining part of the season, their sole goal is to make it to the playoffs, where anything is possible. The Canaries were not successful in their two previous stints in the elite, being relegated after just one season, and it’s a big question whether they are now ready for more. For the match at Riverside, we suggest a double chance for the visitors and at least two total goals.
