In Switzerland, the excitement is just beginning, as this season introduces playoffs, and it looks like the current champion Young Boys and Servette from Geneva will be fighting for the title. One of the pleasant surprises is the team from Winterthur. This team from the suburbs of Zurich is only in its second season in the top flight and barely survived in its first. Now they are playing much more maturely, far from the relegation battle, and it’s very likely that they will qualify for the playoffs. Currently, Winterthur has tied five matches without defeat, and in the continuation of the season, they have only left the field with their heads down once, which was in a duel with Basel at home. Besides good results in the league, this team has also qualified for the semi-finals of the Swiss Cup, where they will play against Servette as the host. The once-famous Grasshoppers are coming to Winterthur, but the Grasshoppers are far from their best days.
