The season is slowly entering the final stretch, much is already known in some leagues but there are certainly things that still need to be resolved. The odds from today’s ticket were valid at the time it was made.

Of course, in Leicester, they want to stay in first place, where they have spent most of the season, befitting a former champion of England. Southampton lost on Saturday in Cardiff and thus, most likely, closed the door on direct promotion to the elite. There is a mathematical chance that leads them to second place, but it is closely linked with the results of their competitors, Ipswich and Leeds, and not just their own. After visiting Leicester, they have to face Stoke at their own St Mary’s, followed by a visit to Leeds. They hope in Southampton that this match at Elland Road could be a direct battle for second place at the end of the season. As for this duel, Leicester is in better momentum and we believe they will not lose in front of their fans. Southampton must attack and we believe they can score.

Auxerre – Laval – 1&ov 1.5 @ 1.77 at Mozzartbet
Little by little, Auxerre has put its entry into Ligue 1 into question. At one point, it seemed that the team from Burgundy would have no problems as their rivals were far behind in points. Now, after two consecutive losses, Auxerre is only three points ahead of Angers and four ahead of Saint-Etienne, with only the top two teams entering the elite directly. There are still 5 rounds left until the end of the season, and there is plenty of time for things at the top to change, and it is up to the Auxerre players to prevent this. The Laval team was at the very top of the table for a long time, being the closest followers of Auxerre, but they completely lost form in the second half of the season. In the last five rounds, this team has earned only one point and in such a way, they will not only miss out on one of the top two spots but also likely miss out on the playoffs. In the first half of the season, Auxerre won in Laval 3:1, and now it seems that the match in Burgundy will end in the same way. Laval has lost the last two matches with a score of 3:0 each, as if they did not even show up on the field, so we do not believe they have anything to hope for in Auxerre. If nothing else, in this playoff group in Belgium where clubs are battling for a spot in the Conference League, the matches are interesting and feature many goals. It seems that the clubs are not too concerned about qualifying for Europe, especially since the path to the Conference League is quite thorny, and due to already fulfilled or unfulfilled objectives, they can play without much pressure. This was evident in the last two matches of Standard Liège, certainly the highest-rated team among these six. They played 3:3 away against Sint-Truiden and Westerlo, much to the delight of the fans present at those stadiums. Mechelen, whose last four matches saw a total of 19 goals, is coming to Liège. After four rounds in the playoffs, Mechelen is in second place with four points less than Gent, the leader in this group. It’s worth noting that only the group winner goes to an additional playoff for a spot in the Conference League, so Standard’s chances are quite slim since they haven’t won yet in the playoffs and are 13 points behind Gent. The visitors need the points more, but in the Jupiler League, that doesn’t necessarily mean much, and we again expect a high-scoring game with goals on both sides.
